Now that prom is over, I think it's time we start planning something outside! The weather is [...] great for the UK! I know Charlie suggested a kickball game, so I was thinking we could do a summer picnic! Or a field day, maybe?

So, despite my deeply-held instinct to stay uncomfortable myself rather than make anyone else uncomfortable, ever, I propose this: we'll tell each other if there is something uncomfortable, and the other will try not to amplify the uncomfortable, just acknowledge and accept. Frankly, this sounds more difficult to myself than it should be, but I'm willing to give it a try.

I can agree to this. I am quite adept at expressing when something makes me uncomfortable, so I do appreciate the same.
