Hello, intrepid Interns. This is just a friendly reminder that your debate on the ethics and dilemmas of time travel is this Wednesday, so you'll want to pay extra attention to your classes on maintaining the timeline, temporal law, and paradox risks in the coming days.

Before I came to work with TEA, I spent over a decade as a Time Bandit, which gives me a unique perspective on these topics. Feel free to ask me anything on this post in the name of research and I'll do my best to answer honestly.

I'm not interested in keeping it a secret and people will have whatever feelings about it that they have. I don't see much point in worrying about it.

I suppose I do not talk about my past that much in casual conversation either. But my past is far less fascinating.

Well, plenty of people here have witnessed critical moments in history. But in general, yes, that's true.

It was in some ways. After I left Vandal's crew I lived a pretty quiet life, though. All things considered.

Early on. I'm sure given my personality you can understand that I wasn't meant for a life of continuous partying.

Continuous partying sounds incredibly exhausting. What did you do after leaving?

I spent awhile accruing wealth and resources, then I got a bachelor's degree, then I spent a long time spectating various historical goings-on. When I wasn't doing that, though, I was just living in Los Angeles.

I don't mind.

By accruing wealth and resources, do you mean [...] in time? Why did you decide to come here, instead of staying there?

Good. [...] I can't help but find you fascinating, truthfully.

Yes. Stock markets are easy to manipulate if you have a jump bracelet. [...] I had to be very careful not to change anything in the timeline, living there. I was always at risk of drawing TEA's notice. It seemed simpler to turn myself in once my goals weren't at odds with theirs anymore.

I'm used to it.

That does sound exhausting. Selfishly, I do prefer you being here, too.

I think, really, all of the time orphans are oddities to some degree. In my time, you may have been the bee's knees, but I believe the world is cool now? [...] Or something about an aura, but I still don't understand that one.

I was a little bit of an odd duck in my own time, too. I don't mind being in the present day all that much. There are some things about it I appreciate a lot.
