They're a [...] special interest. Or they were. The Shadow, Doc Savage, and The Spider were my favorites.

Grew up reading them. They were [...] ways to learn about different places, and history, but it was all sensational. But you could read about heroes having adventures all over the world, or cowboy or whatever the fuck. They were cheap and quick reads. I didn't always have time for real books, so it was nice to have something.

The Shadow was my favorite though. Wish the movie they did in the 90s wasn't dogshit.

I watched it shortly after I got here. It was one of the things I was most excited to see once I heard ~~pictu~~ movies were in color now. But it's not good.
