i used to play pokemon competitively. not TCG, but the game. i was nationally ranked. i was nationally ranked for smash bros too, but only for a while.

hard to say. i guess i had experience in that i've been playing since i was a kid, but it took a couple years of competing to get ranked.

if you had to pick between interesting animals, would you rather they be cute or creepy/interesting? i promise this is relevant to the above.

every now and then, or when there's a new one. but the new ones are too easy.

okay so top 5 creepiest pokemon, in no particular order:
1. musharna. it emits a mist from its body that makes your nightmares become real?? hate it.
2. drifloon. it poses as a balloon and steals children away and eats souls? one of the more recent games gave it a pokedex entry that said it expands as it takes more souls. so.
3. gourgeist. this one actually pretends to be HUMAN ADULTS so it can take the hand of children and lead them to the afterlife. a lot of child stealing going on in this world, i guess.
4. banette. this one is created by cursed energy entering an abandoned stuff doll. an abandoned stuff doll that is "full of hatred" and "looking to exact revenge." i'll let that speak for itself.
5. phantump. because pokemon tries to be egalitarian, this one sounds like a human child and lures adults to their death by pretending to be a child in danger.
