I think perhaps he plays the 'opposites game' with you.

That's why I left it to your charming selves to talk him into going to a musical and wearing a jumpsuit. If I tried he'd get all contrary.

You could try suggesting he would not be able to pull one off instead. Are you also wearing a jumpsuit?

He's too clever for that. He'd see right through me.

I think sometimes people can see through something and still fall for it, but I think how things are now works just fine, too.

And I know I can pull off a jumpsuit. I come by my vanity honestly.
