Continuing on with the hi interns and welcome! For those of you going into the preservationist or wrangler tracks (or you just like fun!), I host trivia nights at the pub every week. Usually I have a list of prepared topics to give people a fighting chance, but I thought it would be fun to open it up to see what you all would like to be quizzed on this week! We're doing it jeopardy style (for my 🕰️👶🏼, here's a clip!), and the one topic I have for us this week is Taylor Swift lyrics in honor of her getting her masters!

GIRL SQUAD

Okay. I have a blind date(??) tonight. What do I wear? I don't want to look like I'm trying too hard because this is really just a casual thing? But I also don't want him to think that I'm not trying, so I'm kind of in a bind.

Also, kind of surprised because I lowkey thought that he and Jack were a thing? Or him and Emmett. Do you think their cruisers? Because I'm not not willing to try that.

Oh. It's Benny, by the way.

Well. I do think it's okay to not go on dates if you haven't been interested in doing so. But if you have been, perhaps you should take more chances in the future.

I like going on dates, but I really only pursue them when I'm interested in someone. And I haven't been interested in someone, but can't tell if that's just our options here (which are minimal) or if I'm hung up on Marisol.

I thought about it, but the pub will be too dimly lit to actually teach anything.

I suppose you could simply talk about it, instead.

We could, but it really is easier to see and do. Benny doesn't strike me as a theoretical kind of guy, you know?

If he's interested, absolutely! Honestly, I think more people should learn how to make clothes by hand.

I prefer using a sewing machine, but I haven’t forgotten how to sew by hand.

Sewing machines definitely have their place, and are an amazing invention. I just think that completely forgetting how to do things without these innovations means they'll disappear.

But I definitely use my sewing machine all the time. I do like the handstitched look on shirts, though.

No. Jack complimented my handstitching and suggested that Benny might be interested in learning it.

Your stitching is beautiful and I could never, but this sounds a little contrived.

He can sew, so maybe he's looking to improve. It's not that farfetched.

If a man finds your stitching to be the most interesting thing about you, I'd be worried.

I can be appreciated for my talents!
